They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain the entire process and what was involved before starting the work. They completed the project on schedule, stayed within the agreed budget, and the quality of their workmanship was excellent. I was referred to Jake Electric from my pumber Liam of L&S Plumbing. I called Jake and we set up a time to review putting in an EV charger. He surveyed the elecrical system and what I needed to install a 220v outlet in the garage. He informed me I needed a new subpanel to bring my panel up to code as it was built in 1982. He quoted me a very fair price for installing a new sub panel, 220v outlet, hanging the charger, along with other minor work like separating the bathroom outlets so the fuses wouldn't blow everytime 2 people use a hair dryer at the same time and adding a GFI outlet in the garage. We set a date to do the work. All the work was completed in a day and a half. He also labled the new subpanel to each appliance (so helpful). The drywall was cut and replaced nicely to make patching and painting a breeze. Jake and his lead tech Matt did a fantastic job and were kind and receptive to my questions. I highly recommend Jake electric.

Excellent work. Their pricing was very good and the installer was excellent. Very professionally done and the new panel looks so much more organized than what I had before. I also had a generator backup system installed as well as an EV charging hookup in the garage. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for work. Very professional and managed to fix the wire that was shorting out our pilaster lights. Then, installed new ones that we had ordered. They don’t mess around either! They got right on the 2 jobs and didn’t stop until they were finished! Matt and his helper cleaned up everything before they left. I advised them that we would like the garage carriage lights replaced too and we will order them for them to install latter part of July.
